Self imposed abstinence

I have barely had a drink for more than three years now ~ since I was diagnosed firstly with diabetes and then depression. The mix of alcohol and pills was not nice. However this festive season I have allowed myself the odd tipple or three and do you know I am finding the taste for it again. I'll say night night now as I am going to toddle off to the old sideboard and get myself a nice drop of port ~ just to round the day off like.  whistle:

Gone right off alchohol tbh. Seems to take me days to recover now after going on a bender, so just don't bother. Not even missing it tbh. noooo:

 Had 1 small whiskey on Crimbo eve that father crimbo didn't drink for some reason, apart from that, nowt.

I am really partial to a drop of port, being a military man, toasts her Maj etc, 
I  think I might join you young snoops. And bloody well done.
