I do remember, when I was in single figures, Mother had a red hat that she wore to "formal" occasions. Now I finally know why it was my Father's favourite  I wonder if it was a "signal" to him?

The ASA has decided that there were no grounds for a formal investigation and said that it 'considered that the ad was unlikely to be seen as sexist or derogatory towards women or to cause serious or widespread offence.

The ASA said: 'The general crux of the complaints was that the ad was offensive because it was sexist and presented a stereotypical view of gender roles.'

Oh FFS some people need to get a life -  bet they didn't complain about the Diet Coke ads when a bare chested sex god was wiping down your steamy windows  at 11 o clock
