Grumpmeister is searching the net looking for one to buy as we speak.

Nope, as far as phones are concerned I only get Nokias.   lol:

So far, I find it a bit of a pain to set up and I'm not overly impressed with the touch screen. I suppose I am biased though, because I am a fan of BlackBerry.

I've got used to having a touch screen now after going through 3 XDA's I just wish Microsoft could come up with a better GUI for them.

Have you listened to the talk that stephen fry gave at the apple store? Downloadable for free from itunes. Lovely walk through his digital life.

What have you got on order BM?

Interesting good or interesting bad. I was considering one of those are a replacement for my PDA. At the moment its a toss up between one of those or an XDA EXEC.

As expected, now that the basics are done (i.e. importing all her numbers from the previous phone, learning how to lock the bastard thing and adding cutey photos to contacts (and ring tones)) the gorgeousness that is Mrs TMR (to be) is now trying to compare it unfavourably with the BlackBerry.

It's a big unit though. Last night I had to tie myself down to stop being dragged into a geo-stationary orbit around it. I may have to sleep in the old Lexus tonight, as I doubt it can drag 2 tons through the window.

Its a trade off, HTC rigs are larger then they would normaly be but they can take a fair amount of punishment before dying.

It's actually a HTC Touch "HD" - if that helps.

She has it in the bed beside her. I may have to go and sleep in West Sussex.

The HD screen on that model does take up a fair amount of the casing.

And yes BM, HTC PDA's do vibrate...  ::)
