Right, I have to take Mrs TMR (to be)'s car to Man Whore for an MOT. Last year, the emissions were a bit iffy - probably because she only does short journeys in it. I therefore must go and rag the arse off it down some nice country lanes  lol:

Round here an MOT on anything that isn't actually dropping bits on the High Street gets an MOT for £50.
Really bad cases might cost you £100.
But you do have to visit the garage with the vehicle and leave it there for the day. It never moves from the spot where you park it but when you pick it up in the evening there is a new MOT on the passenger seat.

Man Whore charges the normal punters £51.30 for a MOT.

After ragging the arse out of Mrs TMR (to be)'s MR2, it still was failing the emissions test. He then told me to drive his gay truck home and he would then bring the MR2 down to the pub after the it had passed, having received the attention of a "Cat Cleaner" - some sort of chemical shite that allows it to get through the test.

Total bill - £40, plus a couple of pints for Man Whore. My Lexus is up next on the 9th Feb...
