And my mobile is normally off unless I go out. I have one of those "tracker" personal numbers that I switch to home phone when I am in and mobile when I am out. This proved a problem when Nick tried to text me as you cannot send a text to such numbers. It is useful though because this way I get to use the same number for any mobile or landline wherever I am and it won't take texts  whistle:

Of course the mobile has its own number too that will accept texts but  tunble: I can't remember it shan't be telling anyone what it is ~ unless Nick remembers but that is unlikely sooooooo you'll never know. Mwahahahahaha  eveilgrin:

Me too DS ~ Bloody Orange wanting to "give" me 500 free texts if I topped up by ?25 a month. I don't spend that in a year on calls.  noooo:

Well why would I? I don't go out that much so I have a deal that gives me line rental and broadband on the home phone and along with that I get free phone calls from my landline to ANY UK landline at ANY time on ANY day of the week. My phone bill is therefore £NIL despite me always being on it.
As I see it the mobile is only for use when I'm out of the house and unlike some people I do not make calls from my balcony or the pavement outside using my mobile whilst puffing a Marlboro Lite.

To be honest it's whatever suits your lifestyle. Most of my mobile calls are for less than a minute and are along the lines of  "I'll be home at XX o'clock" or "I'm at the garage,/shops now. Do we need milk?"

What a fooking day. We have got the furniture back into the Rug Room (minus dust). Got the fooking sofa wedged. Two fooking hours I was stuck in there till a neighbour turned up to advise  cussing: cussing: cussing: cussing:
