My lot are a right bunch. I've one who ended his days in Broadmoor for taking a hammer to his mother and sister and now one who got transported for being a Highwayman. Another fell off the gangplank of his ship, returning drunk from leave, and drowned before they could fish him out. A great uncle was a chef on the Titanic and survived not only the sinking but also the food ~ meanwhile my Mother's father deserted from the army as he hated marching and, in order to hide from the law, joined another regiment (cavalry) and ended up in the Boer War at Mafeking. Another great great Grandfather was a "Bible Christian" which was, apparently, a breakaway sect of the Weslyans who all signed the pledge and paraded round the pubs of Southampton trying to get the sailors and dockers to give up the demon drink and ended up getting beaten up every Saturday night.
All fvcking barmy ~ the whole lot of us!

Yay! Nick's telly is out on parole!

Slap up supper at the next BBC Directors meeting then.

The telly is another story and presently involves a deeply annoying Stanley Baxter look alike and sound alike  cussing:

I'm amazed Snoopy's lot ever managed to survive long enough to procreate.  eeek:

Me too ~ The one whose uncle was a Highwayman had 15 children though. He was one of 11 himself.
