It seems to me the BBC are damned however they treat the incident.

Carol Thatcher was stupid to have used the word and was unfortunate that some prat leaked it to the press. But that's the risk of being a 'celebrity'.

It should have been sorted out among the people having the conversation and no one else.

Jo Brand and Adrian Chiles are both so far to the left (as well as so far up their own arses) if I were Miss Thatcher I would be glad that they have shown themselves up in this light. As for the BBC ~ we all know that to be a hotbed of left wing political correctness. Bollox to the lot of them I'd say.
