I should point out that Growler had a sort of encounter with Mrs Nick at Xmas. He was eating cake in the kitchen and she tried to get out of the front door to avoid him, claiming that I had 'not introduced them'. How could I? She was trying to escape from the house. She had also overlooked the fact that she has met him before  noooo:

Strangely Growler was sat in this room telling me that very story two evenings ago ~ clearly it made an impression on him.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

I suspect any experience with Nick will have made an impression on Growler. Could explain why he seems more volatile these days.  whistle:

Well he was very nice about it at the time (he had had lots of cake) but even he saw that she was a bit odd!

Was she odd before she met you? Were you odd before you met her?

I found the whole incident quite amusing tbh. lol:

Nick does get me agitated. Never mention RUGS to me. I'm scarred for life and now have a disturbing phobia about them.

She has always been nuts. I am normal! That's cos she is female. Why else is she introducing the Boy to the 'music' of Andrew Lloyd-Webber this evening (which I refused to go to. The man deserves to be impaled on a spike) Where was I?

Oh yes, it will be a nice rug. Check yer PMs, you big squishy softee.
