I shall try to see him and give him a big kiss from you. That will make him feel better.  angel1

I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

It's just the nerves before the actual event Growler. They are all probably really tired from the ridiculously long journey and after a good nights sleep hopefully the world will seem a different place tomorrow.

Once they've actually got out on the slopes and start experiencing a bit of fun they will start talking in more positive language and hopefully the number of phone calls will lessen.

Hello Mudder - Hello Fadder
Here I am at - Camp Granada
And it's very - entertaining
And they say we'll have some fun if it stops raining

I went hiking - with Joe Spivey
He developed - Poison Ivy
You remember - Leonard Skinner
He got ptomaine pois'ning last night after dinner

Take me home, oh Mudder, Fadder
Take me home, I hate Granada
Don't leave me, out in the forest
Where I might get eaten by a bear-ear

No I don't want - to-oo scare ya
But my best mate - has malaria
You remember - Jeffrey Hardy
They're about to organise a searching party

Take me home, I promise I will not, make noise
Or mess the house with oth-ther boys
Oh please don't make me stay
I've been here one whole day

Dearest Fadder - Darling Mudder
How's my precious - little bruddah
Let me come home - if you miss me
I would even let Aunt Bertha hug and kiss me

Wait a minute - it's stopped hailing
Guys are swimming - guys are sailing
Playing cricket - gee that's better
Mudder, Fadder kindly disregard this letter

She'll be fine and the minute she's home will be planning her next trip.

'Find a map' route searched it this morning.
1,025 miles at a max speed of 60mph, the last bit in snow too apparently. Beggars belief.  noooo:
No wonder they've got 3 drivers.

28 hours on a coach is obsene - as you have said surely it wouldn't have made much more difference to fly over , cutting out one hell of a load of stress and frustration for the whole party. Couped up for that long no wonder they are feeling so fractious  noooo:

Did it in 27 apparently. Still far far too long, and they're all expected to be back at school a week Monday folowing the same return journey on Sunday. ::)

Growler Towers is very quiet.....and uncannily tidy. eeek:
Growler Jnr is actually missing her now too!! eeek:

I'm absolutely kerknackered following a dredful nights kip last night, and a really hard day route planning and digging at Swamp 3 in readiness for two different but very traumatised family visits this week.
One an 18 yr old with terminal cancer, and the other a brother and sister who lost their dad in a motorbike accident just before Christmas.

It's going to be a long hard week for some of us as Nick suggested.

The one person who will be unaffected by all this is MiniMoose who will come home full of it all.

27 hours on a coach ~ Nothing! ~ Kids bounce astonishingly well. Wait till she has had a nights sleep and has found a boy or two to ogle. She'll love every minute of it.

Fear not, I am quite sure that unlimited opportunities to fraternise with boys , including Italian ones and suchlike, will be of no interest to her at all
