Had a birthday at the start of Feb. A big birthday. A milestone*. And I noticed that things seemed to almost immediately get harder more difficult. Stuff like standing up, sitting down, walking up and down stairs, little things like that. Carnal relations remain bafflingly as vigorous as ever, although I seem to take much longer to recover.

Clearly it is all part of growing old, but for it all to have happened more or less overnight is troubling. Particularly as, in all other respects, I don't feel any older.

Did anyone else experience anything similar?

*I turned 30... whistle:

YES! A few weeks after I turned 30 in January I did my back in.  noooo:

I am that age where it takes a long time to scroll down to the year of birth when completing on line forms sad32:

Bits that proudly pointed North, East and West now point South. When going out to an unfamilar place I always attempt to locate the nearest toilet. I like cardigans and accordian music, I found words, like "whippersnapper", "scallywag" and "ner do well"  creeping into my  vocabulary.

Last time they lit the candles on my birthday cake a group of campers gathered around it in a circle and sang Kumbaya

I couldn't ask for better friends. I could ask for more NORMAL friends, but not better ones.
