Haven't checked the telly yet after I lobbed my shoes at it in disgust.
More trouble brewing? ::)
You upset then?  whistle:

Banghead Well I am,  cussing:  everyone and their mother knew he should have pitted 2 laps earlier, it was always going to happen, and there was no need for it at all.  censored: He is not blameless, but it must have been like driving on glass, and what a stupid place to have a gravel trap.  noooo: The team should have called him in earlier.

Thanks Puss. Someone who understands about this motor sport passion thing.

Look. We have precious little to get excited about in this wretched lousy country of ours as it is, so when the opportunity comes along to feel uplifted and extremely hopeful of a long awaited British success,
I think it's only natural to feel a 'tad'  ::)  down hearted when it all goes tits up as ridiculously as it did this morning?
Remember that totally dreadful final race at Adelaide for Mansell to win the F1 championship Puss? i was choked for a week after that. sad32:

I've been like a bear with a sore arse all day over this, and THAT is my perogative, OK?
I WILL live with it, as I have no option, but why shouldn't I and many many others feel downhearted and disappointed on what we perhaps stupidly thought, was going to be a GREAT British day for English sport?

Hopefully that will still come in just 2 weeks time.  happy088
I'll be in Greece for the final round. They better have it on their tv's, or it'll be more than their bastard dishes that get broken. eveilgrin:

By the way, I'm no rugby fan AT ALL, but I was bloody made up to see them have the Aussies yesterday, and will follow their progress with great interest.
I dare say the 'followers' of said sport in here and nationwide, will feel as equally pensive and passionate about the outcome of Englands destiny in the tournament as both myself an 'Puss' do about the F1 saga outcome.

I could not do it now though, a quiet rally would be a bit OTT these days.   whistle: Thinking back, the last one of those, was a while ago but even that was a bit hairy and ended in a DNF.  noooo:

What rallying you do then?
Open a thread in the petrol head section if you like, and we can have a good old wander down memory lane. Done a bit myself. cloud9:

Talk to you about it down at the swamp on Saturday afternoon?  that is if Nick has not arranged anything else.

Will be in you area from Wednesday this week, busy during the day and  free evenings and from 15h30 on Friday to weekend. It will depend on how hospitable the natives are as to when we drive home.

Their may be nothing to see though tbh. ::)

Even the Swamp is gone. Are their turf thieves about hereabouts?

Just been offered a 30x10' accomodation unit/potakabin, freshly refurbished with windows and seperate rooms, lighting and heating for FREE! eeek:

It's getting it there from Holywell  (£2-300 problee) and then actually manouvering it onto site though. You know how tight and boggy it is. ::)
