Well his first section was about his childhood to put in context some of his emotional immaturity which is one of her accusations.

He then went on to explain why he marriage failed in extreme honesty and why he felt this woman was different to his ex wife. Also apparently another area he had been asked to explain.

He had to justify his decision on why he didn't want any more kids - he already has a son - as she still wants a child even though she is in her mid forties -

He had to clarify what 'love ' meant to him - I was reaching for the bucket at this point ( obviously green with envy  cry: )

And then what he planned to do with the rest of his life - (a) if he was with her (b) if he wasn't - again criteria she had specified.

He then had to do a sumamry of his objectives

Honestly what sort of guy is he - man or mouse!!!

Bottom line for me is that if it got to the stage where instead of talking (shouting)  to/at  BM I asked him to write stuff down for me (ie; indicating that I was so bored I seriously couldn't be bothered enough to listen to him) then I'd be out of that door (well one of them anyway) PRONTO !!!!

Is he a tad ummm asperger like? The only reason I can think of requesting it be written down is that he was incapable of talking about it!

Still though terribly extreme and I really can't think of a single bloke I know that would agree to do so! Also if she is unsure to that degree just cut him loose and to save himself some dignity he should do it first.

She is now reviewing it and has arranged to meet with him in a month.

I have said what I think - which is pretty much what we all unanimously think . Apparently I am being too harsh about her and don't understand his pain  Banghead
