Trick Calls

I had a call last night from a friend ( remember the moral dilemma story) ...so she starts off with the usual how are you etc etc etc,,,,which then leads gently into what are your plans next weekend??????

Thinking she was offering to cook dinner or go out on the town - confirmed I can't do Friday as I am out but can make Saturday  razz:

Excellent she says - I am moving house on Saturday and would really appreciate if you can help out

I recall when SWWLTBO and I moved into our first proper flat (as opposed to bedsit). Her brother offered to help. He turned up just as we had finished unloading the hired van. He had a stunning looking woman in tow and a litre of gin, a bag of ice cubes and a large bottle of tonic. His woman dived into the nearest box looking for glasses and he produced a lemon from his pocket.
Don't remember much else of that day ~ we unpacked a day later than planned, on our own but with bad headaches.

NOW that is what I call helping someone move house.  lol:
