Ok. I admit it, I smoke. Marlborough. The red ones. Stupid I know. But only outdoors. And certainly outdoors nowadays.

It would seem to suggest ' The leniency required an amendment to the legislation enforcing the ban ' - if that's so then it will have much bigger repercussions for all those other establishments that have been denied this flexibility.

The legislation is often difficult enough to enforce without exemptions being made for every honourable Tom, Dick and Harriet  evil: evil: evil: evil:

I gather that Jug Ears Obama is a 40 a day smoker and probably wouldn't have come to the meeting if they denied him his ciggies.

G Brown needs Obama there or he will lose what credibility he has left in the world.
