Since thus far at least two people have admitted to trying your recipe and have not liked the result ~ Perhaps you might concede that not everyone likes the same flavours and textures as you or perhaps your recipe is wrong?

tunble: This may be a long wait.
Nope the recipe is correct... everybody that has tried it here loves it...

I can only conclude that you fucked it up (and no surprise that Nick did) or it is in some way incompatible with your bread maker...  whistle:

Then perhaps we like different food tastes?

I gave one loaf to the neighbours. They have just commented on its 'unusual' flavour  rubschin:

Wot? The Bread? ~ Pukester  sick2: In my opinion.

The children took one sniff and refused to try it. Mrs S#2 and I had some but frankly we didn't much like it. The honey makes it quite "sticky" and the basil needs something to balance it. I have suggested Sun Dried Tomatoes (as per a very similar bread recipe by Jamie Oliver) but BM won't hear of it.

But perhaps you will like it, everyone likes different things .............. unfortunately BM is in denial about the differences in people's tastes (Or perhaps won't admit that he has "adapted" one of Mr Oliver's recipes).

Add the SDT, reduce the honey and it would be quite good as a savoury bread with soup. But what do I know? ~ I'm the only one here who has worked in a professional kitchen as a chef (as far as I know that is).

As long as you enjoy the bread that's all that matters.

I shall try some when I visit and will  include this in the culinary section of my travelblog. Soon to be published in 12 parts, the 1st publication at a special introductory offer of £1.99 with a free toy goat  lol:
