Go to the Post Office and ask what they cover...  ::)

Or PM Miss D and ask what she has done...  happy001

Who sold you the insurance? ~ Ask them, in writing, as every policy is different. My brother always buys his annual travel insurance from the AA and they seem to cover such things on his several trips a year to Switzerland ~ he does stipulate that he will be carrying a mobile, a camera etc. when he buys the insurance.

I have none as yet. I don't normally bother as I don't tend to travel with expensive stuff. And if something medical happens to me I'd prefer to be out in Spain where I have 24hr parent care, rather than at home with Mr Wench's part time care. So I just take my EU medical card thingy and so be it.

But because I now want to take laptop/iphone/good camera I am worried about them getting nicked or broken and want them to be covered. So I'm not actually interested in the health bit, just the stuff bit.

If you (or Mr Wench) have AA or RAC membership it is worth ringing them for a quote and details if not the Post Office do a pretty good policy as BM suggested. But you need to make sure you tell them what you want to cover.

When I used to travel abroad my Amex Card covered me automatically for all losses and illness so I never needed to find cover elsewhere ~ sorry.
