Will be very common now - schools will no longer be closing - you will just be expected to keep your child off school if they exhibit any symptons

Exactly the moment when all of my children, over the years, have managed to catch something ~ and the one year when none of them caught anything the eldest girl got herself knocked over by a car on the way home from school on the day they broke up.
I have spread measles, unknowingly, all over Holland by trotting round with a child who we thought had a sniffle and she developed full blown measles on the boat home. I have had the eldest boy diagnosed with "A mump" (No I didn't know you could get them singularly either) on the day before departure. We postponed that holiday by a fortnight and bugger me if half way through the delayed holiday he came down with the second mump. Banghead


At one time the local A&E receptionists used to greet me with the words "Hello again Mr Snoopy ~ which one is it this time?"

Unfortunately, I suspect this is exactly what happened on the ship that's been moored off Invergordon since Monday. In spite of better judgement and making a declaration of good health someone decided to board whilst suffering some form of gastroenteritis and before you know it half the passengers come down with it  noooo:

I see in today's rag that anyone who imagines they have swine flu will be encouraged to take two weeks off work.
