Right, got the wireless working, uninstalled Norton, installed AVG and Firefox, now will run a full AVG scan. While I go to the pub.

Bloody hate Vista!

P.S. The laptop is a HP Pavillion dv7-2030ea

When the laptop is in "video/TV" mode, you can use the remote to change channels/ fast forward / change the volume etc.

Two BSDs so far. Office 2007 wouldn't activate - "a communications error has occurred. Please try again in a few minutes".
