Joking apart surely the owners of the servers on which we you rent space should resolve issues like this ~ or is it very much DIY?

Lets just say they take a 'hands off' approach!  lol:

They're repairing my customer's site because somebody hacked in to the server and wiped the whole thing clean - hundreds of web sites...  evil:

On the pub tho it is very much DIY unless you can actually prove that it was a server-side problem that caused the issue... almost impossible to do...

I may simply have to bite the bullet and replace all the code on the site... we'll keep all the shite that we've posted tho...
