My son and I saw the new Star Trek film yesterday. It is an excellent re-imagining of of the original Star Trek TV series and has certainly restarted the franchise which had got more than a little stale. The story bowls along at a very rapid pace with superb special effects covering and excusing the usual plot holes and some of the most amazing coincidences.

The actors have well captured the personalities and feel of the younger versions of the characters, especially Zachary Quinto as Spock and Karl Urban as 'Bones'.

All in all, great fun.

Uhura (Zoe Saldana) looks good in her underwear though.  happy088

Don't we all with good special effects  lol:

Have to say though that I wouldn't mind going to watch this one and I'm not normally a Star Trek movie fan .

Maybe it's your affinity for bladed objects but for some reason I had an image of you having a Klingon costume in the back of your wardrobe Miss D.  whistle:

GM darling .... I only have cling on clothing that is very much designed to impress earthlings   8)

There's not a lot of space in there it has to be said  Snoops  - he would have a very claustrophobic experience  ;)

Excellent have been waiting for a review I could trust! I didn't want to go if it was going to ruin the original series for me!
