New 500Gb external hard drive for back-ups, stowing away the old DAT tape device and the old CD burner, copying all clients' folders, fonts, apps etc (which will take all evening, in the background fortunately). Thus ends phase numero uno Phase numero duo is Thursday... transferring all email info to Apple Mail, seeing if the fonts (hundreds of them) will all work with OSX, buy more memory and move stealthily from Tiger to Leopard. Then configure time machine for rolling daily back up.If only I knew what all this meant Fortunately I got a man in Apologies if this should be in The Computer Room
