You feel strongly about this then.  ;)
YES I BLOODY WELL PIGGIN'DO ! evil:

What in gods name is the point of banning people from using their phones whilst on the move....on grounds of safety for ALL road users, but allowing these cretinous moronic selfish bastards, who COULD'NT give a flying dog turd or box of out of date figs, about you, me or anyone else, to simply stop wherever and whenever they want, to talk to some other tosser probably just about how many shags they had last night. ARSE HOLES! evil:

I was doing the school run a few weeks ago, and this half witted tit of a bint simply stopped on one of the busiest routes to and from the school, blocking the raod on one side causing horrendous tail backs at a time when we're all TRYING to get our off spring to school.
I blew my horn and gesticulated a talking on the phone type gesticulation with yapping fingers salute, adding on a pointed finger behind me at the que, and she just stuck two fingers up at me, bloody heaving fat arsed ugly bint.

What you think you own the f*ckin road ???  shrugs:

You just havin' a laugh? rubschin:

Its nuffin personal Bear I shit on everyone point:

That's ok then. Carry on.....talkin' shite. ;)

I'm too agitated to play games today. I really couldn't care less who's in here tbh as long as we can all let off steam and have a damned good hoot too.
Stuff it. Back on topic please. evil:

While we are on the subject of motorists...

I see the Government is kicking up a fuss about people impersonating learners to take and pass their tests for them.

What a load of owld bollocks that is!

Back in the days of 'book' licences they wanted more details and progressed to the pink licence where everybody claimed their licence was at Swansea, oh and by the way people are impersonating learners to pass their tests.

What was needed everyone was agreed, was a photo licence! That would stamp it out for once and for all.

So we got the photo licence and suddenly the photo is no good. The problem is worse, people are 9 times more dangerous that don't pass their tests - 9 times more than what is not explained.

So what's the beef?    It is obvious that this impersonation will become linked to terrorist impersonating 'good' people and wreaking havoc so what we desperately need is a biometric ID card to prove who they really are.

Makes sense doesn't it?  Yes, of course - except - when they introduced the photo ID that was all that was needed.  Now they are pushing for a full biometric ID system for exactly the same reasons.

Problem.

When will they discover that full biometrics ID is not good enough?

And worse... What will they be wanting then as a gold standard?  Brain wave implants?

Watch for the increasing areas where bona fide identites are being compromised all of a sudden...  And we will need to be protected from......... ?

Bad drivers are just that!  Bad drivers.  and no amount of Identity Card security will ever change that fact, but I'll bet you'll hear an awful lot more about it soon.

In all seriousness no-one here has anything to hide.
Some of us fell out with Admin on another board for reasons that need not concern anyone else. The Barman offered a haven by creating this virtual pub. What goes on here is our business and what goes on elsewhere is best left there. We are well aware that some members of this board post on other boards and that is a good thing as we would not have the input we enjoy if it were not so. Teasing references to those we have all laughed with and at, sparred with, fought with etc are alright in their place but don't let's get bogged down in such things
The past is past and should stay there. Unfortunately memories of some are long and bitter experiences are not easily forgotten but let's not go down that path or we will end up with exactly what we hoped we had left behind and the last thing any of us need is another bout of infighting, side taking and general unpleasantness.

Oh tits, what have I started. sad32:

Apologies if applicable.
As was originally stated, it really doesn't matter who we all are, or where we post as long as the knives stay firmly shut in the drawer.

Good place this.
Now shut the F up and get the ale in.
And turn that bastard phone off too!
