If anyone doubts just how coordinated this Downing Street fightback has been, here's the proof.I've been leaked a secret Labour party memo that has been emailed to all MPs and ministers this morning, stuffed with lines to take on everything from Purnell's resignation to the reshuffle to the election results.It bears an uncanny similarity to the remarks by Peter Mandelson, Jim Knight, David Miliband, Liam Byrne, Harriet Harman, Jack Straw, Douglas Alexander, and others who have hit the airwaves in the last few hours.MPs and ministers can't, of course, have minds of their own, so they are spoonfed lines in the first person. I particularly loved the personal touch of "I think the whole cabinet have found James Purnell's resignation surprising and disappointing" and "I am obviously disappointed by James's resignation".Compare and contrast next time you hear any minister on the telly or radio.
