Barmaids and suit of armour party
« on: June 11, 2009, 10:42:32 AM »
Mrs Nick and I have been invited to a knights and barmaids party. Does anyone have any helpful costume suggestions?

What size is your bust and do you mind showing some cleavage?

Mrs Nick should surely go dressed as usual ~ breathing fire.

Well I was thinking of going with an old bucket on my head, like and Mrs Nick has an old cowgirl costume somewhere. But I think we would look ridiculous  noooo:

Make yourself a tabard - borrow the boys light saber and wear BM's bucket - you'll look grand  lol:

As for Mrs Nick - go shopping and buy her something nice to wear  eyes:

Maybe she could swop her Cowgirl costume for LL's Barmaid costume  rubschin: Otherwise LL would have to go to a cowboys and indians party as a barmaid, which would make no sense whatsoever

If you can get a long plain knitted jumper & paint it with Hammertoe you can use that as chainmail if you have a tabard over it.

Alternatively you could just make a mahoosive white flag to carry & when someone asks tell them you have come as Sir Ender. whistle:

Given the amount of general wierdness and calamities that happen in Nicks world anything is possible so we've learned to go with the flow  whistle:

And suggesting I paint a woolly jumper with Hammerite is sensible?

I'm sure that Mrs Nick could knit you an outfit from some wire wool.

You can always unpick it afterwards.
