 rubschin:  With due deference to the omniscient Snoops ( ;) ), I'm thinking of another one... black & white possibly, early Lee Marvin, possibly 60's, New York or major US city setting... A hit man is being hired, pretty sure it's a gun that disposes of the fly on the wall or ceiling...

I think it has been used a few time both with Gun and Knife but I did remember that one and a clip was available ~ too good a chance to miss. ;)

I liked the one where the guy was showing off his prowess with a Samurai Sword. He whipped it out and slashed it at a passing fly. The fly flew on and everyone said "You missed". The Samurai Master replied "I did not miss, he will not breed again".
