Ridiculous Hats

Where has this tradition come from for Ladies Day at the races to wear the most ridiculous over the top and impractical head gear.

It's not funny, stylish or clever  noooo:

It's also not a competition.

In the name of good taste someone ban the wearing of any hat for women that is not 'reasonable' - it is beyond farcical now . The biggest offenders are just attention seeking leeches anyway  evil:

I thought LL had a thing about hats  rubschin:

You could make a helicopter hat, which would be quite impressive, and then fire it up to escape (vertically) from awkward social situations

I saw the unconvincing transvestite at the market this morning. He has another new wig. He has gone blonde  noooo:

He doesn't favour hats, fortunately
