I have always used faithfully when it's Dear Sir/Madam or more usually Dear Sirs and sincerely when I'm addessing a person as in Dear Miss Demeanor or Dear Nick.
In which case, you have always been correct.  happy088

Pirate, DS and Uncle are correct. Dear Sir/Madam etc requires Yours faithfully

Dear Miss D etc should be Yours sincerely.

Dear Auntie should be Love from

Sven should be Yours pantingly or if you follow Nick's advice Yours pantyless

NORWICH = Knickers Off Ready When I Come Home. (Commonly used by soldiers etc when telling wives/girlfriends that they were due a weekend pass but war time censorship prohibited them actually saying so.

See also SWALK = Sent With A Loving Kiss

ITALY = I Trust And Love You

There were others but I can't remember them now. GOS will know them all I have no doubt
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

My mother used to mention Burma when talking about my dad's war exploits. I always assumed she meant his theatre of war.   eeek:
