Euthanasia roller coaster designed to kill riders

While it might look like the ultimate roller coaster, the Euthanasia is designed to 'humanely, with elegance and euphoria, take the life of a human being.'
It is designed to subject the rider to a series of extreme experiences that would eventually kill them.
Lithuanian engineer Julijonas Urbonas claims his theoretical creation will cause tunnel vision and – when travelling at 100m/s – death, due to a lack of oxygen reaching the brain.
He said: 'Thanks to the marriage of the advanced cross-disciplinary research in space medicine, mechanical engineering, material technologies and, of course, gravity, the fatal journey is made pleasing, elegant and meaningful.
'Celebrating the limits of the human body but also the liberation from the horizontal life, this 'kinetic sculpture' is in fact the ultimate roller coaster.'

Dutch footballer signed to professional contract - aged one

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4F9MiTeV30

After seeing the astonishing footage below of Baerke van der Meij chipping footballs into his toybox, Dutch top flight side Venlose Voetbal Vereniging offered a contract to the 18 month-old toddler.

The 10-year deal has been described as 'symbolic' - whatever that means - but the club did issues the following press release:

”The toddler's favourite position has not yet been determined. However, we can speak of a right-footed player with a very good kicking technique, perseverance and, importantly: football genes via his grandfather."

The DVD;s are the whole thing as far as I can remember though there was one of the disks that had more music than the others.

We went to a village fete today and one of the stands was raising money for a primary school.

I tried to take a photo with my camera but failed.

It was one of these:

The label read: "GUESS THE WEIGHT OF PADDINTON BEER"

I immediately thought of TMR for some reason...
I mostly despair

Hotel suite made out of 10 tonnes of chocolate

Fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld has unveiled a hotel suite made entirely out of chocolate.

Lagerfield teamed up with French master chocolatier Patrick Roger to create the masterpiece in the heart of Paris, using more than 10 tonnes of chocolate.

The room, which contains a desk, lamp and sculpted figure of Lagerfeld's favourite muse, model Baptise Giabiconi draped on a chocolate bed, was created to celebrate the launch of the new Magnum Ghana and Ecuador ice cream bar.
