A daily attendance allowance when you are actually in the chamber is one thing, even if I do have reservations about the system being misused but demanding it for working (and I do use that term loosely) from home is just taking the piss. You are using the computer you already own to connect via the internet connection you already have so what expenses are we covering? Regardless of whether it was genuinely earned, inherited, bought or gifted for cronyism any peer worth their salt would be demanding that their allowance gets put into a bonus fund for front line NHS staff.
