Latest reports have 5 of the 6 reactors being set to cold shutdown so they can regulate themselves although the control room is said to have been one of the targets so it's unclear what's going to happen with the remaining one. They are supposed to have been designed in such a way that they can withstand earthquakes and a plane crashing into them, does that mean they can withstand an artillery barrage, missile strike or tank shells? Only time will tell I guess. In theory they are of a more modern design so in the worst case scenario we would be looking more at a Fukushima type disaster rather then Chernobyl again.
