‘I saw this derogatory term everywhere,’ said Mrs Jane Brooker of Carshalton Beeches, ‘so I thought, why can’t we ladies have a nice, clean codeword for the buff parade outside the school gates? That’s when it came to me: “DILDO – Dad I’d Like to Do”. It’s short, smooth, and rolls off the tongue.’
Mrs Brooker splashed her term all over Mumsnet, unveiling her hotness hierarchy. Her best friend’s husband became a “total dildo”, Barack Obama a “dildo if I could afford the airfare” and Hugh Grant “the eternal dildo.”
Chaos ensued, until the website’s founder, Jane Owen, sprang to Mrs Brooker’s defence. ‘I can’t see what the fuss is about. Mind you, when “Abi’smum” posted about the “intimate pleasure a rabbit can give” in the page dealing with pet care we nearly had an animal cruelty charge.’
Mrs Brooker was red faced when told of her error. “What, you shove them up – where? For fun? Eeuw, that’s the last time I coin a phrase in a hurry. But is it still ok to call Ricky Gervais a “Total Waste of Anyone’s Time”?
