"The man was said to have driven a Toyota Prius at a police van on a restricted part of road directly opposite the palace."

A green Jihadi, or does the Prophet demand he avoids the Low Emission charge?

Surely a Trabant would do more damage to Infidels?

You must be joking, I was hit by some arsehole in a Trabant when I was in Romania years ago. Other than a couple of bruises I was fine, the front of the car on the other hand looked like someone had belted it with a sledgehammer.  noooo:

WTF? Nobody is interested in English, Maths or Science any more? The Victorian legacy of Micheal Gove? Please tell me that this was Corbyn trying to do comedy at the Fringe.

Quote
During his talk, Corbyn said: 'Don't believe in Michael Gove Victorian theory of education that only English, Maths and Science matter. Nobody here is only interested in those three subjects, so why should our children be?'

This is the country that amongst other things build Concorde, that had a thriving ship building industry, is a world leader in geothermal energy research, that STILL has a thriving technology industry. None of that would have been possible without those core subjects.

facepalm:

Oh the irony.  So a bog street compo Daily Mail copywriter moans about English teaching and can't understand the meaning of 'Nobody here is only interested in those three subjects' so presents it as 'Nobody here is interested in those three subjects'

Thought you'd spot it Meister

The 'bomb' looks like an old artillery shell...  confused:

There wouldn't be much chance of it exploding unless some idiot picked it up and dropped it while trying to run with it...  lol:

True but if he didn't realise that it must have taken some balls to just pick the damn thing up and run off with it.

I vote stupidity...

How did it get here? How long has it been here? What are the chances of it going off anytime soon? What if it is set to go off if anybody picks it up?

Judging from one of the photos I'd say it had been left there by someone as it was lying on the ground rather than being at least partly buried. Unless the photographer was even more daft and walked over to take the shot after it had been jostled by a high velocity copper.
