Back when I was a student nurse the hospital I was studying at had almost as bad a reputation for accidents as Nick does.

On the day we had the Health & Safety officer come and give us a talk he was dealing with the fallout of some poor bugger getting flash burns on his arse during surgery.  noooo:

Who on earth thought that this would be a good way to improve the square in the first place? It looks like the kind of thing that BM would 3D print when he is pissed  noooo:

I didn't read the article, but what are the chances of the council pleading poverty at every opportunity...? ::)

Given that this is the same council that wasted £32k trying to find a replacement Chief Executive back in 2017 I'd say that's a pretty strong possibility.  noooo:

Amazing how they all plead poverty due to 'nasty Tory austerity' when they are closing the public bogs and library but always have cash to spunk away on vanity projects, a new Bentley for the mayor, a pay rise all round for the councillors and a team of 'Diversity and Inclusion' officers...  noooo:

I'd hate a world where every town centre was drab and utilitarian and councils didn't try to brighten them up with stuff
Well, whatever, nevermind

Stuff like filling in potholes comes to mind and with something that lasts

But our councils have top down enforced serious shit to deal with right now.  More responsibilities and less money

Wonder if Mr Stew would work, it seems to survive everything that Nick throws at it...  rubschin:
