A 34-week jail sentence suspended for 12 months?? Are you fucking kidding me? How can judges and lawmakers not see that the reason we have runaway levels of violent crime is that the punishment is absolutely bloody pathetic. If you want to stop the violence then make the punishment something to be absolutely terrified of. No messages on fried chicken boxes, no holistic approach bullshit and no holiday camp style prisons.

It is nuts.. noooo:  and I can tell you sentencing DOES make a difference ..In my past ..I was involved in "stuff"..we all knew the sentences..everyone stayed away from firearms  (was 7 years min just for having 1 )...
