Why wasn't Greta awarded the Nobel Peace Prize? Simple, she hadn't done anything to earn it. Bunking off school, taking a yacht trip which cost more in carbon emissions that flying to America would have and throwing a strop at the UN General Assembly does not, in any way, qualify someone to be worthy of said award.

They still haven't announced the Nobel Prize winner for Ikea-assembly (Swedish so there must be one) so don't give up hope yet
Don't know about assembly but if there was one for furniture destruction or meatball consumption then BM would be the odds on favourite. 
Anyhoo it isn't as if she arranged any of it other than bunking off school. She's a kid with autism who has been scared by the media dramatisation of climate change and has since been weaponised in the belief that people won't argue with a child. Hell the legal action that she and 14 other kids have brought against the governments of Germany, France, Brazil, Argentina and Turkey has clearly been put together by other people just so that she can put her name on it.
To be fair considering those 'faces you'd never get tired of hitting' Extinction Rebellion bastards, Greta is relatively benign and can certainly write and give articulate speeches. But for services to denying education to children she still needs locking up as well
Having seen a couple of interviews where she kept dissembling and trying to pass basic questions off to one of the adults I'm not convinced she actually wrote her speeches.
As far as Extinction Rebellion is concerned, there is already a list of very rich celebs who have taken part, it would be a real shame if the affected businesses decided to band together and sue for loss of earnings...

So I'm shouting at the screen about how if she had to do a proper job she'd realise what a pain it is to have these fucking prima donnas who can't even remotely persuade through the ballot box so will try to impose their view anyway behaving like spoilt schoolkids
