More details of Kanye's crack at the presidency have been revealed in an interview with Forbes.  While I was originally impressed with him having Elon Musk as one of his advisors it's been more than cancelled out by the fact his other one is Kim Kardashian and he thinks that vaccines are the mark of the beast.  noooo:

Methinks the whole thing is a ruse to help Trump by siphoning off some of the black vote from away from Biden.  Kanye West is very pro Trump and sometimes third party candidates tilt the balance.  Bill Clinton would never have become president but for Ross Perot splitting the Republican vote

Well, whatever, nevermind

I'm not so sure, he said he would run as an independent if Trump hadn't stood down and as a Republican candidate if he had. Given some of the bizarre things he has said in the past he may (at least in his own mind) think he could be a viable contender and I can't really see Elon (you only live once) or Kim (the lights are on, the door is open but Mrs Brain has long since departed) telling him otherwise.

So the US Supreme court has just given native Americans jurisdiction over the Eastern half of Oklahoma. I can't see there being any fallout from this.............no not at all.  noooo:

I did notice that USA Today has quietly changed the headline to something a little less inflammatory but if you go on to their website and search for the original headline (Supreme court allows native Americans jurisdiction over half of Oklahoma) it sends you to the altered article.

Well it's Trump's own supreme court so I figure they have actually made the correct in law decision and it does sound like the Indian nations will actually sort something so that existing convictions hold
Well, whatever, nevermind

I can see imminent problems with taxation though, losing that much revenue means that Oklahoma's budget has just been decimated. Not to mention that millions of people have just found they are now no longer under State jurisdiction without any input or choice on their part.

Ever been to Oklahoma?  I have once and got myself more than 24 hours from Tulsa as soon as I can.  It's not the nicest of states, makes Texas look like a left wing liberals paradise

Well here is a thought if you think singing Rule Britannia and Land of Hope and Glory should be banned from the last night of the Proms because they are overly jingoistic and insensitive to the BLM movement, don't bloody well go. There are plenty of other people who would happily take your seat instead and enjoy the night and guess what? We aren't racist you arrogant arsehole.  Banghead

Are peers that far removed from normal society that the can't see a provision like this would be the final straw for countless pubs across the country. Hell given how many pubs have had to improvise to allow drinking outside I'd say that there is more of a risk from breathing in exhaust fumes than second hand smoke.  Banghead
