The BBFC has always been a bit mental...  noooo:

I remember years ago when I was really into Home Cinema discovering that they even censor sounds... So they might decide that the sound of a punch landing was 'too violent' and it had to be toned down. I always used to buy Laserdiscs from the 'States because the editing and soundtrack were so much better...

It's actually just off Sheerness, been a legend for years with those of us that lived near wondering if it was worth detonating it so they could rebuild Sheerness starting with a clean sheet
 
I read a study a few years back that said it should probably be safe now as the fuses would have rotted away.
