Sooooooooo Disney are going to release a new book based upon one of their franchises aimed at helping pre schoolers learn how to read. What's wrong with that I hear you ask.........well let me show you the cover of the work in question..



Yes you are seeing what you think you are. That's Ripley, Jones the cat and a carton XENOMORPH. Who in their right mind thought  that it would be a good idea to make a book for kids that young based on the bloody Alien franchise?

Seeing as it's less than a fiver on Amazon for the pre order I'm half tempted to get one just to see what unholy bastardisation they've had to use in order to make this a children's book.  rubschin:

I'm sure that there aren't going to be any 4 or 5 year olds who having read the book sees the films in their parents collection and decides to watch them...  noooo:

Drilling into an active magma chamber to provide 'unlimited power'. Is it just me or does this sound like the kind of crazy idea that BM would come up with after a couple of bottles of collapso..   eeek:

I'm sure that drilling into a magma chamber under pressure isn't going to have any adverse effects............no not at all..  noooo:
