Sitting in intermitant darkness

I'm sick to the very back teeth of these flourescent tubes going wonky.
EVERY 6 months they start this bloody sroboscopic disco light show.
I'm starting to feel  sick2:

I'm now going to have to go out in the pissing rain to get ANOTHER one.
Where can you get a decent one that lasts a bit longer from ey? confused:

I have those compact fluorescent low energy bulb thingies in my office ? they?re on almost 24/7 as the office has no windows and they?re lasted 2? years so far?  cloud9:
