A myth I beleive. The ashes refers to a newspaper article about the 'ashes of english cricket' etc. Or possibly summat else, no eggs involved anywho.

I bet that makes you feel better, as I'm sure the fact that Leicester are beating Barnsley at the game of football improves your life.  ;D

I feel so much better . I couldn't sleep last night worrying that Leicester might not put in their best performance and so early on in the season as well.

Knowing this now makes me feel incredibly drowsy  lol:

They are called 'The Tykes' by the way. Barnsley Football club that is. They are called 'Tykes' because they are all complete bastards I am told.

And all Yorkshire born people are called Tykes and are very proud of it. Barnsley being in Yorkshire it follows that they would be called "The Tykes". They claim it derives from Norse (The Language of the Vikings) but personally I think it comes from the terriers also known as Tykes. Thus speaks a man who was married to a girl from Yorkshire for 20 years.

It's a tough job but something I feel I have the appropriate skill set for  whistle:

Now why on earth do they wear tank tops in cricket - this is a crucial question. Does this not impede the perspiration from drying off and increase the washing load - is it entirely necessary ?
