Unless you like alleyways  eveilgrin:

Paris is tiny by comparison. London has many hidden corners and nooks and stuff  cloud9:

Paris turns its back on you.

True but then you and I know London and you can walk from one side to the other in a couple of hours same as Paris.

People get confused as to what constitutes London. As far as I am concerned, in this context, it extends only from the Thames to the Marylebone Road and from Marble Arch to the River Lee (just past the Blackwall Tunnel approach). Nothing much outside of that counts ~ I am prepared to cross the river but only to get to the South Bank or Waterloo.

We had our wedding do in Chiswick.

We advertised it to include:

Beach
Boats
Bonfire
Barbecue
Balcony
Fireworks

It was all of those

Also close to the A4

London is fabulously diverse  cloud9:

Paphitis, note how your brave attempt at starting a Chelsea football thread has turned into a London geography lesson. This is normal so do not be put off.  lol:

Anywho:

Chelsea enjoy the giddy heights at the top of the Premiership after beating the mighty Burnley.

And who was it mentioned London eh? EH? EH?

rubschin: You don't suppose that Paphitis was trying to "come out of the closet" and tell us he is a Chelsea fan do you? I mean I know he's in Oz and all that but NOBODY admits to following Chelsea surely.

Not when spurs win & knock them off the top of the premiership.

Your lot drew by the way.

One point at a time ~ only another seven weeks then and we'll be on 0  sad24:

Somehow I don't see us gaining promotion this season.
