The Time has come
« on: August 30, 2009, 06:13:46 AM »
To nail our colours to the mast. Let our collective voice be heard throughout the land and leave no doubt where we stand on the issue that dominates the news this weekend.

Do we actually care that the Bros Gallagher have had another falling out and that it seems that Oasis will perform together no more?

It appears that the latest spat between Liam and Noel is more important to our present and our future than the arguments about banking bonuses (should they be allowed, taxed or banned?), it is more important than climate change (whether you believe in it or not), it is more important than whether our troops should be pulled out of Afghanistan and elsewhere ~ in fact it is so important that it features in every news broadcast, almost every radio programme and in every newspaper.

For my part I couldn't give a flying fvck if I never heard of or from the Neanderthal eyebrowed twosome again.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Who?

No, that's Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend.

Music to my ears, this pair of cro-magnon arseholes have made a career out of shamelessly ripping off other songs. cloud9:

I agree that given everything else going on in the world this is hardly front page news, or were they the 2 only people in Manchester not signing on?

The universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements. Energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest.

Liam Gallgher I have an even lesser opinion of.....

Indeed.

Think of the hours we save by not mulling over first impressions.

Straight in a pigeon hole after 5 seconds then move on.
