I thought I would resurrect this thread as I was saying on another thread that holding an Alligator was on my Bucket list....

I have no real interest in things like the seven wonders but if got the chance would take it to see what all the fuss is about if nothing else..... but as a child I had a list in my head of things I wanted to ...

I know it seems daft now but as a child I used to go with my dad to just outside Glasgow airports main runway and we sat in the car with dads radio and listen to the pilots talking to the control tower taking off and landing...

We would then drive round to the terminal park run inside and watch the people disembark from the plane we had just listened to landing...

My dream was to be one of those passengers coming down the steps on the plane and walking across the tarmac... I have to admit that even today I get a bit of a thrill when I do that.. redface:  Only at Glasgow I might add..

As I said I know it is daft....

Another was to visit Paris to the Louve been loads now and love it....

Amerika  have been a few times but only to the south.... so dream of going to Washington picking up a camper , car, or an open train ticket and just seeing where I end up.....   cloud9:

Everyone I think needs to have dreams something to strive for something that makes you smile when you think about it.. ;D

So what do others dream about.... rubschin:

I don't mean munny we would all like that I am sure that is taken as read ..... ::)

As is health the most important dream of all ....... and of course the person of your dreams..  cloud9:

I normally just get told I am mad and a fantasist....  ::)

And to be honest I don't give a FF .. At times it has kept me sane when I could have cracked and gone under... Truth be told..

So I hope there are others like me out there just as mad... and willing to admit too it

Want to be able to work without dealing with mongs.......

I don't give a FF ...

Or is it that you are not man enough to admit that you have or had any dreams ..... rubschin:

Done most things.......... Thumbs:

still do not own an alarm clock ...the biggest thing I achieved ...... Thumbs:

I want to convert an old village bus into a home, rent a bit of land near the beach, have fairy lights in the surrounding trees and sleep in the afternoon in a hammock in the shade. Have a whole rustic living room outside with many animals and plants and have the best bbq parties every weekend.

I'd sort of like to see Table Mountain, Red Square and both North and South poles but don't want to have to stay overnight at any of them.

But even those wouldn't make a bucket list, not sure I've got any "must do" items left.  Loads of "bit curious" and "wouldn't mind"s

So my bucket list is I want to discover somewhere or something I didn't know of or knew I wanted and find it brilliant.

Well, whatever, nevermind

OK and ta, will relegate Red Square to the "only if going there anyway" list (ie will never happen)

But if you ever get the chance to see South America you must do Argentina.  Brilliant scenery and possibly the friendliest and most fun people in the world.
Well, whatever, nevermind

you've never been then

First day we were there we'd paid for an English guide to get us from the airport to the hotel and there's this casual looking guy with our names on a board - and he was brilliant.  Halfway to the city he breaks off from telling us stuff to come up with this line with a big grin "you're English, you don't have to worry.  We've forgiven you for the war but will will never forgive you for the football"

Did I mention the scenery?

Well, whatever, nevermind

St Basil's' you can look at on the intermong, Lenins' tomb has a mahooosive queue and opposite is their biggest department store which was like a car boot sale.  noooo: We managed to get tickets to see the Faberge eggs....but they were on loan from the new great grandma Lizzy and Malcolm Forbes. The Ruskies only own about 4 of them themselves.  noooo:

Knowing my luck I will go to South America and on your recommendation arrive in Argentina just as there is a 2nd Falklands war.  noooo:

Absolutely.

We have done some serious research and it may happen within the next couple of years. Its my only dream and the thought of achieving it is very exciting.

You and Nick can have your own hammocks. I even have trees picked out for you.
