Why do people sign up and then not bother to check what's going on?

Trying to reach a cousin of mine who I haven't seen for over 30 years - all meeting at my aunts 80th wot my cousin is organising - no response to text or FB request!

PS - she has 11 brothers/sisters and only 2 of those I have seen in the last 25 years.

My parents both came from large families and I had dozens of Aunts, Uncles and cousins, as did they. There are 4 of us left alive (That I know of).  noooo:

Dad had 2 sisters (one with all the kids)

Mum had 6 sisters and 4 brothers.

I don't know how many cousins I've got/had, will have to try and add them up.
