HELP!
« on: September 04, 2009, 12:11:39 PM »
I have an interview this afternoon, in all seriousness what are sensible answers to the question I always dread the most, what would you say your weaknesses are?

'I get too wrapped up in my work'

'I am a bit of a perfectionist'

'I hate making mistakes'

But if they don't ask that question don't start bluriting out the answers as though they had. They will think you are a nutter  angel1

We really did have a girl come for an interview and whilst in reception she asked to use the ladies and came out like that!

We (The Sales Management team) gave her the job on the spot! HR didn't seem to like the logic behind our decision  redface:

According to my brother I fart, Mr Wench I am too loud, friends irritatingly punctual if not early. Only sensible answers so far have been here and one from my old work colleague who is also a very close friend.

GOOD LUCK

The old chestnut about weaknesses is a bit of an old question now and to my knowledge is not asked very often.

What will impress is if you have done your research on the company - looked at it's business plan etc - no matter what your job entails and at the end ask questions pertinent to that. Also bring this in whilst you can answering the questions they ask you.

Think of your answers to questions like a story i.e. briefly explain the issue / your experience etc - what you did and then the outcome

Sell yourself - there is nothing wrong with at the end of the interview if they have not asked you something you think is relevant or you think shows some of your skills then tell them about it anyway

Never mind weaknesses and research...  ::)

Ask them if you can access the pub and facebook while you are supposedly working...  whistle:

Don't forget the knickers and leave at least three buttons undone on the blouse ~ make it four if it's a bloke doing the interview.
