My perfect hideaway is my mousehole in Cyprus...but... you cant beat a good walk on Exmoor with a dog to keep you company. Stout walking stick with a roe deer antler head. No signal on the mobile. Excellent country pub...Bliss... cloud9:

Give me a small English Harbour any day, a proper pub, and a good restaaurant... job sorted

Mrs JOM and I are off this week. Yesterday was spent in the New Forest at Lymington, then Beauleiu anf Lyndhurst. Today we're heading out Chichester and as far East as we feel (Rye is always nice) and Thursday is likely to be Beer (the village) in Devon

We once considered taking a pub in Seaton (just up the road from Beer) but decided in favour of one elsewhere. Last time we went down there (last year) the pub was a Chinese Restaurant.  eeek:
Still a nice part of the world tho.
