Perfect hideaways
« on: September 07, 2009, 12:48:27 PM »
The horrors of this summer: crap weather, builders and no holiday (apart from the hippyfest  evil:) have had me quietly fantasising about a brief escape. After my mysterious illness (see elswhere) years ago I took off alone for some convalescent time to this island (see below).

I love Greece  cloud9:

A tiny island
A little harbour
Boats
A couple of tavernas
2 or 3 restaurants doing fresh fish and suchlike
Perfect weather
A nice hotel http://www.greeka.com/sporades/skyros/hotels/skyros-linaria-all.htm
All the time in the werld
Read, sleep and swim  cloud9: on my own little private beach

I could do with some of that right now.

Where would you rather be?

Anywhere but here right now....... cry:

but some time alone, somewhere hot , with beautiful beaches, coves and harbours, gorgeous scenery , a really good book and great food would be most welcome on the prescription.

Why?

Because I love Holland, I like the Dutch and Volendam has many happy memories. I have spent weeks there over the years and know good bars, good seafood eateries and places to stay. Also it is only a few hours drive into Amsterdam which is my favourite city.

I had some nice times there (Skyros) alone then took Mrs Nick there before she was Mrs Nick and shagged her on that beach in the middle of the pic.

btw Google camera vans have just been past my house. I was chatting to the 5* MILF at the time  evil:

I remember many similar conversations with Mrs S#1 including one which she ended by saying "Well, if you are not having an affair you're thinking about having one!" shocked003 ~ How the f*ck do you counter that?
