It's awful. I went through a redundo procedure about 12 years ago., Was being forced to apply for a job I didn't want. Clandestine meetings with the union lawyer in hotel lounges all over London. Got what I wanted at the 11th hour. No intermong then to speak of. Bastard process though  noooo:

This is all a sad and nasty time. I had a phone call yesterday from a guy I pass work to occasionally; he was working his way through his phone contacts to drum up some business. I am way down the alphabet and like others had nothing for him. A small family business started by his Dad in the late 50's now run by the two sons.  noooo:
I know of no one else like them; superb craftsmen and realistically priced. As of lunchtime today they have no work on their books at all.  cry:
