Brown set to overhaul government
« on: June 28, 2007, 07:33:02 AM »
How does it feel with a new man at the wheel today?  point:

Quote from: BBC Web Site
He met Liberal Democrat peer Baroness Williams in the Commons but a government source said no ministerial role would be offered to her.

He has already asked former Lib Dem leader Lord Ashdown to become Northern Ireland secretary, but this was refused.

Source

I think its quite positive that he is attempting to get outsiders into his cabinet ? it hopefully means that he realises what a shower of shite he has to choose from in his own motley collection of MPs.  whistle:

Paddy Pantsdown says "No Thanks" so Gordy's next inspiration is daft old Shirley Williams. Gawd Help Us!
If that's the best he can think of we've no chance.

Whither Ruth Kelly and Tessa Jowell?

Quote
Patricia Hewitt, who has elderly parents in Australia, said she was quitting as health secretary, and resigning from the government, for "personal reasons".

Yeah, sure.

Oh, Mozo?

Been watching the developments on Sky ~ Yes Berek, your favourite girl Kay Burley ~ what a load of cack!
Brown clearly intends to run the show himself with a bunch of yes men/women in place.
No point in sending the jury out ~ things are NOT going to get better! tunble:

Why has it all gone quiet about the Lard King Prescott?

There was something on the news earlier about him getting a job with the EU.

Was I right in hearing earlier on that appointing a deputy Prime Minister at all was Brown's choice?  eeek:
