Idiots in Customer Services
« on: September 16, 2009, 05:39:37 PM »
I ordered some low level wipe clean tables and matching chairs for the village hall ~ for use of a toddler play group.
I asked and the sales person agreed that I would be called to be informed of the delivery date once "Transport" had one.
Last week they delivered the chairs without telling me.
I queried this by telephone and email. I asked when the second part of the order would be delivered and why they had failed to notify me as agreed of the first delivery.
This is the reply just received

Thank you for your customer service enquiry.

We have been in communication with the Tranport Department and they have advised that the delivery date for the tables cannot be improved at this time. Therefore we anticipate your order will be delivered the week ending the 9th of September. Deliveries usually take place Monday to Friday between 8.30am to 5.30pm.

Please feel free to contact us by replying to this email should you have any further queries and please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Notice that they have confirmed that delivery will take place last week and that they cannot improve on this.  Banghead
